Abigail Ann McHenry (Hayes) Swanson, 52, of Sadieville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Born March 30, 1971, she was the beloved daughter of the late William Duke and Loralyn (Whitehead) McHenry.

Abigail enjoyed soccer, landscaping / gardening, and making her home warm, cozy, and inviting with her unique expression and creative style of decorating. Abigail spent a large portion of her years residing in Midway Kentucky and worked many of those years at various schools (Northside, Southside, Simmons, Safe Harbor) in Woodford County as a Teachers Aid.

Surviving relatives include her children; Isaac, Noah, and Maya Hayes of Lexington.
Seven sisters; Maureen Rarey of Bedford, Indiana, Eileen Hoff of Seymour, Indiana, Uarda (Ben) Cullison of Bloomfield Indiana, Trinita (David) Myers of Bloomfield, Phoebe Fuller of Bloomfield, Indiana, Miriam (Donald) Rush of Lynville, Indiana, and Lora (Jeffey) Williams of Williams, Indiana. Two brothers; John McHenry of Bloomfield, Indiana and Paul McHenry of Worthington, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Duke McHenry, her paternal grandparents John and Lula (Duke) McHenry, and her maternal grandparents, Lynn and Lora (Fischer) Whitehead
and one brother-in-law Tony Fuller.

A private memorial was held at Johnson's Funeral Home in Georgetown, Kentucky.
