May my condolences bring the family comfort and may my prayers ease the pain of this loss. He was my postdoc mentor, adviser and a great friend for many years. He was an outstanding scientist and intellect holding prolific scholarly track records, and a constant source of humorous tales for decades. He had a hobby of collecting research on the greatest scientists of our time, including his mentor Dr. Paul Emmet. He is irreplaceable, and will be missed by many of us.
